Research Interests

In 2021, I started my PhD in Salzburg at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Digital Health and Prevention (LBI-DHP). In this position, I am closely working together with the Eating Behavior Laboratory. The main focus of my research, however, isn’t eating behavior but rather physical activity (PA). At the LBI-DHP, we’re working on the development and evaluation of digital interventions to foster PA engagement, especially in the setting of cardiac rehabilitation. Within this context, I am investigating (situational) determinants of PA and adherence to PA training plans using ambulatory assessment methods. Based on those findings, I want to develop and investigate (digital) interventions aiming to foster PA, especially such that can be delivered just in time (JITAIs).
